Weight Loss Tips: #21 Don’t Skip Breakfast:

I’m sure you’ve heard the expression, “It’s the most important meal of the day,” well, that simple little phrase is referring to breakfast. People who eat breakfast, are more apt to maintain a healthy weight than those who skip off to work without eating.
In fact, eating a healthy meal in the morning is the best way to jump-start your day, and will keep you from “pigging out” a few hours later when your stomach is sending you S.O.S signals.
#22 Just Say No:
Don’t allow yourself to eat anything out of the container that it came in. Have you ever opened the freezer and pulled out a container of Rocky Road? You dipped your spoon in and swore you would only take one bite, and somehow that bite led to two, three, four—and before you knew it, the container was empty.
It’s very hard to practice portion control when it’s ever so easy to keep reaching into a bag of potato chips or box of cookies. Do yourself a favor, if you must indulge measure or count out your portion. Your belly will thank you for it.

#23 “Oh nuts!”
Nuts and seeds are an excellent source of protein and are a super snack in between meals. Make sure to plan several small healthy snacks through out the day to keep your energy levels up and to keep hunger pangs under control. A warning about nuts….although healthy, the calories can add up, so measure your portion.
#24 Sip, Slurp…oops, Burp!
Ditch drinking soda…it just isn’t good for you. The “real stuff” is loaded with sugar, empty calories, that pack on the pounds. The “diet stuff” made with Aspartame, has been blamed for a wide array of health problems. Aside from the health aspects, the carbonation from soda can lead to uncomfortable belly bloat.
#25 Huge Restaurant Portions:
If you have to eat out, make sure that you eat less by ordering from the children’s menu or ask for a take-out container the moment the waitress brings your food to the table.
Before you start eating, split your meal in half and put it into the box, so you can eat it for lunch tomorrow. Good news—you’ve paid for one meal, but will get two meals out of the deal, and best of all—you have controlled you calorie intake.
